At TUBO, we take pride in creating bespoke outfits that reflect the unique personalities and styles of our brides. One such bride who holds a special place in our hearts is the stunning Ini Dima-Okojie. Her journey with us was a labour of love, and we are thrilled to share her story with you.
Ini’s first look was a masterpiece that took 3 and a half months of meticulous hand beadwork and curation to bring to life. The rich velvet fabric was carefully chosen and embellished with exquisite details that were well thought out from conception to reality. The dress we designed for Ini was inspired by her Bini culture, and we took great care in hand-beading the velvet fabric ourselves. The corset midriff cinched her waist showcasing her female form which continues to inspire the TUBO brand. She accessories with coral beads which spoke of her rich cultural heritage that Ini wanted to incorporate into her special day. The result was a breath-taking masterpiece that complemented her beauty and radiance.
For Ini’s after party look, during her first fitting, she was uncertain because the top half of the dress was yet to be adorned but she believed in our vision and patiently awaited the result. When Ini returned for her second fitting, she was in awe of the perfection that had been achieved. All the fears and doubts she had at the first fitting were now a thing of the past. Her joy and satisfaction were palpable, and we were elated to see her fall completely head over heels with the dress we had envisioned for her. It is moments like these that remind us why we do what we do and reaffirm our commitment to creating unforgettable bridal experiences.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Ini's journey was her incredible support system, her TRIBE. As a bride, it is essential to have a group of friends who uplift and encourage you throughout the wedding planning process. For every fitting, at least one friend was present to show their unwavering support. Their positivity and camaraderie were truly the icing on the cake, and we were delighted to witness their beautiful friendship in action.
